On the main pages REIKI is so often mentioned that it seems to make sense to write something about it. The basic information about REIKI can be found in the net, I would rather write about my experiences and how REIKI has changed my life.

REIKI came at a time into my life when I was open for something new, even was looking for a possibility to find our if I had “the gift” or not. With stories about my healing great-grandmother and what my children told me, I got curious. When then a friend told me about REIKI, I immediately registered for a course. That was in 1996.

Since then my life has changed drastically. One could think that with spirituality and esoteric one is “away with the fairies” – but my experience is just the contrary. Through those concepts I got a different grip on reality, a concept of life that makes sense, where I know from where I came and where I will go to. I experienced things which are scientifically still not explicable. Energies, chakras, auras and past lives have become a reality that helps me to deal with everyday life.

Actually REIKI is very simple: Switch on REIKI, place hands, let it flow, switch off, take hands off, finished.

Everybody has the gift, the human touch is something magic and unique. The power of energy transfer may vary from individual to individual, everyone knows there are natural healers. But if one would like to acquire it, then one can start the REIKI process with a Master/teacher who attunes. During these attunements he opens mentally the energy channels which can become even more open by exercise.

Everybody can treat oneself and others with REIKI. With the second degree one learns techniques for distant treatment. In the beginning I also thought that this was weird, but with time I had to learn that there are effects that can not explained otherwise.

For me with REIKI I got connected to a source of constant inspiration, so that I am never short of ideas for my art work. For that I am utterly grateful. I use the same process like during attunements during my work with the sculptures. I am sure that those sculptures radiate constantly the transferred energy. In this way I do not only enjoy the creation of a sculpture, I even can pass on positive energies through them to people who bought them. That is something I really do appreciate.
